Black, stripes and leather; it’s always a good combination. A few days ago my new pencil skirt arrived, it’s a basic pencil skirt from H&M and I couldn’t wait to wear it. I went for the basic look, a striped cropped top and a leather jacket. But I felt like something was missing, a little bit of color maybe? That’s why I added this flannel, to give the outfit something special.
This outfit is kinda ‘rebel-ish’ because of the leather jacket and the way I wrapped the flannel around my waist. Since the pencil skirt is quite classy, I really like that contrast. Normally, I don’t combine two types of prints in one outfit. Most prints don’t look that well together, but I think that the tartan and stripes go along pretty well.
You may think that this top is a little cold for this time of the year. Well, it is. I just can’t wait for summer to wear cropped tops, I love them!

I would love to know what you think about this outfit, what do you think about combining two prints?
